Identifying and ranking of spirituality improvement strategies; Chaharmahal and Bakhtiary police department commanders and employee’s perception
today, spirituality is a factor which influences the performance of different organizations. Nowadays, research show that spirituality improves organizational performance. Hence organizations looking to improve spirituality and in order to achieving this using the various strategies. The present research intended to improvement strategies and investigates commanders and employee’s perception in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiary police department about the ranking of these strategies. Based on the conducted interviews with Chaharmahal and Bakhtiary province police commanders and employees, 13 primal strategies for spirituality improvement in this organization identified and evaluated through a survey with scholar maker questionnaire and preference by coefficient conversion method, after ranking methods, analyzing selective methods and comparative with similar studying. It is found that the most important strategy is “designing the jobs so that make employee’s life purposeful and give meaning to their life and work”. On the other hand, “Create nearby and belonging between employees and also strengthened trust between employees and managers”, “Encourage employees to achieving organizational goals” and finally “pay attention to spiritual values in the organization” were the next highly rated strategies by respondents. It was inferred that if the organizational spirituality in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiary police department to be improved, all of top commanders and managers should pay a special and continuous attention to the Job “characteristics, significance, identity, autonomy and feedback”. Finally, “Personal Force” and “Political and Ideological” departments play more important role in spirituality enforcing in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiary province police organization.
