Sociological study of the relationship between social performance of Aras Free Industrial Zone and some social structures
Creating an industrial free trade zone is one of the development tools that can attract capital, transfer technology, train human resources, study scientific management and connect to the global market. However, the creation and expansion of free trade zones, like other economic development projects, must be done with cultural and social considerations. Aras Free Trade-Industrial Zone can also play an effective role in strengthening the social structures of the region. The main purpose of this study is to study the sociological perspectives of social groups in Aras Free Industrial Zone on the social performance of this region. This research was a survey in terms of purpose, application and data collection method and data were collected through a questionnaire. The theoretical framework of the research was the theories of Emile Durkheim, Jürgen Habermas, Karl Marx, John Rawls, Parsons, Anthony Giddens and Barry Bouzan. The statistical population was all citizens over 16 years old living in Aras Free Zone, whose number was 36,000. Using Morgan table, 380 people were selected. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. Factor analysis was used to evaluate the validity of the structures. The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between the social performance variable of Aras Free Industrial Zone and the variables of social solidarity, social justice, social ethics, social security and quality of life from the perspective of social groups.
