The Role of Mental Health of Managers in Social Responsibility of Social Security Organization

In the past few decades, health was one of the country's top priorities and one of the indicators of country development, but today, mental health is of equal or higher importance. Social responsibility is a sensitive and appealing issue in recent years and is a key factor in the survival of any organization. The purpose of this article is to investigate the role of managers' mental health on social responsibility of social security organization. For this purpose, the mental health of Canada has been defined in three dimensions: self attitude, attitude towards others and attitude towards life. The statistical population of the study is managers, deputies, directors, officials of insurance and health insurance units of social security organization. The sample size is 112 according to the Cochran formula. Sampling method is randomly classified. The data gathering tool is a questionnaire. Reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed by Cronbach's test for mental health issues of managers and social responsibility of the organization 0.873 and 0.918 respectively. After collecting the questionnaires, the data were classified and categorized using descriptive statistical methods. Pearson and regression tests were used to test the hypotheses. The results indicated that mental health of managers and their triple dimensions do not affect their social responsibility in the studied organization.
