Situational Crime Prevention of Computer Theft

Due to the increasing development of computer and communication networks, the most prominent of which is the Internet, and the greater ease and speed of these networks and tools, people are more inclined to use these tools to do their business such as daily work and business. The use of cyber thieves and profiteers to steal bank card account balances. Therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate disciplinary strategies to prevent computer theft in cyberspace.

The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of type of research. The statistical population of the study was Kermanshah Fata police officers, 25 of whom were randomly selected. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential methods.

The findings of the study show that police warnings to the public about the practices and tactics of criminals in cyberspace, complete and comprehensive information through mass media, appropriate and specialized training of police and judicial officers on how to deal with the crime of computer theft The use of up-to-date viruses and reputable payment gateways in online shopping has an effective role in preventing disciplinary cyber theft in cyberspace
