Needs Analysis and Prioritizing the Communication Skills of Women Police Officers
Proper communication is one of the most important goals of organizations and is important in their development, efficiency and effectiveness. The aim of this study was to assess the needs and prioritize the saw skills required by women police officers.Research
The research approach is inductive reasoning with experimental philosophy and in terms of practical purpose, the type of research data is mixed. The research collection tool in the qualitative part is 22 semi-structured interviews and in the quantitative part 175 researcher-made questionnaires are based on qualitative findings. The target population in the qualitative sector included experts, experts and university professors familiar with the field of police women and communication skills issues, and in the quantitative sector, female police officers working in the Fa Tab in two units and the building of the Prevention Unit. Morgan table sample size was determined. Mean, percentage, factor loading, Chi-square and Friedman were used for analysis.
The result of coding and categorizing the findings of the qualitative section was identifying 28 needs for police communication skills in three dimensions: interpersonal, interpersonal and organizational.
The results of the quantitative section, which was done in order to prioritize and confirm the results of the qualitative section, showed that among the interpersonal needs, the need for "respect for privacy" is the first priority, and among the interpersonal needs, the need for "anger control". "Duty and responsibility" are the first priority.
