Investigation of the factors affecting the motorcycle theft increase in the province of Mazandaran, Jooybar, years 86-87

Occurrence of crime, chaos and wrongdoings will cause problems in the development path of societies. Therefore, the governments' fulfillment of development programs necessitates existence of security as the most important prerequisite to development . This article aims to discuss one of these wrongdoings which has always been citizens' and police's obsession. Any delinquency and crime has direct effect on the society's security but theft has a special position in determination of security indexes. Therefore, this study is focused on one of the branches of theft, " motorcycle theft".
