The effect of management stability on professionalism with meritocracy approach (Case study of police personnel in Mazandaran province)
The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of management stability on professionalism with a meritocracy approach (a case study of law enforcement personnel in Mazandaran province). The research is descriptive in nature and is a survey research in terms of implementation method. The statistical population of the study is all police officers in Mazandaran province who are employed within the scope of the investigation. Using Krejcie and Morgan table, the sample size is determined to be 214 people. Individuals in the statistical sample were selected through cluster random sampling. Data collection tools included Karimi et al.'s professionalism questionnaire (2012), Abtahi and Abd Sabour (2010) meritocracy questionnaire and plowman management stability questionnaire (2011). In analyzing the research data, Pearson correlation test and regression analysis were used to evaluate the fit of factor models, chi-square indices and goodness-of-fit index through SPSS and Amos software. The results of the study showed that management stability has an effect on professionalism, meritocracy with meritocracy approach in law enforcement personnel of Mazandaran province.
