Identifying and Ranking of Instructional Challenges in the E-learning Management System of University of Tabriz from the Perspective of Students in COVID-19 conditions

Abstract:
Background and Objectives

The aim of this study was to identifying and ranking of instructionalchallenges in the e-learning management system of University of Tabriz from the perspective ofstudents in corona conditions.

Methods

The method of this research is descriptive-survey. The statistical population of the studyconsists of all students of Tabriz University in the second semester of the academic year 2020- 2021that 388 students selected as a sample size with cluster random sampling A researcher-madequestionnaire was used to collect data. face validity of questionnaire was confirmed by professorsand experts in the field of educational sciences. its construct validity was also determined throughconfirmatory factor analysis. The reliability of the research instrument was determined usingCronbach's alpha (0.928). One-sample t-test and Friedman test were used to analyze the data.

Findings

From the perspective of students, the dimensions of the dimensions of support, attitudeand access have been identified as educational challenges in the e-learning management system ofUniversity of Tabriz. Also from the aspect of ranking based on the perspective of students, theSupport, access, attitude, interaction, evaluation and feedback, infrastructure, content presentationmethod, classroom planning and management, content and personal characteristics are the mostimportant training challenges in the e-learning management system in corona conditions.

Conclusion

Findings indicate the existence of educational challenges in the e-learning managementsystem of University of Tabriz, which necessitates the University of Tabriz resolved these barriers andchallenges with actions such as forming technical, educational and human support groups to providethe necessary assistance to students in emergencies, provide programs to change students 'attitudestoward e-learning and facilitate students' access to e-learning management systems.
