Shams, Features in «Tears of Love» by Sinan Yagmur
Many books and stories have been written about Shams Tabrizi and Rumi,s
infatuation and restlessness when after Shams, departed. Shams, the one
who Rumi,s Divan of Ghazals is named after him, his manifestations are
in Mathnawi, and his impress is in Fih-e Ma Fih. Studying more and
more numerous works about this great mystic, reveals more angles of his
mysterious life. Since the scope of the story of Shams and Rumi covers the
world and they and their works and Rumi,s successors still have numerous
fans and followers all over the world, continual researches, writings and
compilations are formed and are still possible. Undoubtedly in Turkey,
which is the treasurer of such unique purl as Rumi, of course, the researchers
feel they have to protect the mysterious story of these two great men of
history. Sinan Yagmur, an author and researcher from Turkey, is one of
those who has concerned about Shams and Rumi and has written a book
titled «Tears of love» in three volumes in biography of Shams, Rumi and
Kimia. This article aims to present some features of Shams by the case study
and analysis of the first volume of this book which is a biography of Shams
by his own narration. The result is a collection of Shams, temperament,
childhood and old age, the events of his life and his fate
