Criticism of Ghafari's opinions about Sheikh Kolainy's belief in the distortion of the Qur'an
Nasser bin Ali al-Qefari, one of the Salafist professors of Muhammad bin Saud University, has criticized the views of Shiites in the book» اصول مذهب الشیعه الامامیه، عرض و نقد « "Principles of Religion, Al-Shia al-Amamiya, Review and Critique". In the first chapter of the book, he criticized the Shiite view of the Qur'an. The issue of distorting the Quran is one of the topics raised in this section. According to him, since the past, Shiites have believed in the distortion of the Qur'an. Using some Shiite sources such as the book "Fasl Al-Khattab fi Tahrif Kitab Rab al-Arbab" by Mirza Hossein Nouri, and according to some hadiths in the book "Al-Kafi", he considered Sheikh Kolaini to be one of the believers in the distortion of the Qur'an. This article examines his claims and it shows that Sheikh Kolaini never claimed to distort the Qur'an and such an idea is not extracted from "Al-Kafi" hadiths. On the other hand, there are evidences that show that Sheikh Kolaini did not believe in distorting the Quran.
