The nature of magic and its educational aspects from the point of view of jurisprudence

"Magic" is a social-historical phenomenon. In some societies, witchcraft is a hereditary belief that families and clan members pass on to each other based on their family system. Paying attention to what is, the truth of magic, the jurisprudence and its consequences, in terms of moral and education, can be effective in determining the framework of the desired Islamic behavior style. This article is trying to analyze the moral and educational effects of magic by analyzing the reason of Islam's strong confrontation with it by using the analytical and documentary method. In order to explain the nature of witchcraft, jurists have considered two meanings for it: in the general sense, it is considered to include all unconventional possessions; Although these possessions do not exceed the possession of people's imagination; But specifically and in a more limited sense, witchcraft is a complex phenomenon during which the human soul finds the power to use unnatural and beyond material means and by performing extraordinary actions, captures the soul and spirit of the people of the society. In Islamic teachings, practicing witchcraft is considered a cause of disbelief and teaching and learning it is considered haram. With the analysis presented in the text, it seems that the sanctity of magic and its teaching and learning is due to the bad and undesirable effects that it leaves on the character of the magician. Some of these works are: 1. Ignorance instead of rationality; 2. Suffering from wonder and arrogance; 3. Disbelief and unbelief; 4. Loss of self-confidence; 5. Anxiety and fear; 6. Suspicion and mistrust.
