Criminological investigation of the tendency towards pyramid activities in the city of Shahrekord from the perspective of Merten's anomie

The aim of the current research was to investigate the criminological tendency towards pyramid activities in Shahrekord city from the perspective of Merten's anomie. The method used in this research was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of data collection method. In this research, the statistical population includes all the residents of Shahrekord who are over 18 years old, according to the census of 2016, the number of these people was 190,000, of which 384 people, and the multi-stage sampling method was considered as the sample size. was taken In order to collect information, a questionnaire was used. In order to measure the reliability of the questionnaire, Cronbach's alpha method was used, and the value of this coefficient was 0.89; Also, in order to measure the validity, content validity was used, and for this purpose, the questionnaires were approved by the relevant experts. The analysis of the information obtained from the implementation of the questionnaires was done through SPSS software in two parts, descriptive and inferential. The findings of the research showed that from the point of view of criminology, various causes and factors influence people's tendency towards pyramid activities, which can be pointed to individual factors and causes and structural factors in the economic and social system, which according to Merten's theory, this situation occurs when a person He cannot make the right choice of social goals and social structures to achieve his dreams, which leads to abnormal behaviors.
