Comments on Zahabi's Views about Allegorical Interpretation

Dr. Zahabi has criticized the allegorical interpretations of Ahlulbayt in his book titled "Al-Tafsir Al-Mofaseron". The present article tries to clarify two different concepts of interpretation, namely allegorical interpretation versus interpretation itself, and allegorical interpretation versus revelation to provide decent respond to his bitter and unfair criticism. The article suggests that the Shiite interpretation has its root in the revelation, and notes that this type of interpretation has its supporters in Sunnite scholars, along with Quranic and Shiite supporting documents.
