Explaining the factors affecting violence against women by emphasizing their sense of security in the home environment (Case of study: Women of Bandar Abbas city)
The purpose of this research is to investigate and explain the factors affecting violence against women by emphasizing their sense of security in the home environment.
The statistical population of the research is the abused women referring to the Welfare Counseling Center, Dispute Resolution Councils, Police Stations and Justice of Bandar Abbas city, and 258 people were selected as a statistical sample using targeted and available sampling method. The research method of this study was a survey and the data collection tool was a questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire was measured by the formal method and its reliability was measured with the help of Cronbach's alpha statistic. The results showed that Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the Patriarchal attitude spectrum 0/878, observation of violence in the paternal family 0/859, spouse's mental stimulation 0/860, feeling of security in the home environment 0/851 and violence spectrum was 0/960. After questionnaire collecting, data were analyzed by spss software.
The results of the research showed that there is a significant relationship between violence against women and financial security, life security, identity security, spouse's mental stimulation , observation of violence in the paternal family and patriarchal attitude. In the step-by-step regression analysis, after entering all the variables, finally, Three variables of observing violence in the paternal family, financial security and spouse's mental stimulation were entered into the regression equation, and according to the coefficient of determination (R2), these variables explained 56.3% of changes in the dependent variable.
