Evaluating the role of knowledge-based and job-creating products in preventing and controlling crimes, deviations, and social unrest in Mazandaran province with a glance at local and global experiences

Expanding the culture of using security and safety equipment in the community to reduce incidents, accidents, and risks caused by it and familiarizing safety and security activists in the public and private sectors with the latest technologies of security and safety police equipment from all the capacities and potentials in expanding the familiarity space, production participation, and consumption resources are the objectives of knowledge-based companies. Also, to shorten the hands of intermediaries, support elites and inventors in the field of equipment related to the subject of the exhibition, and help to commercialize superior ideas, economic prosperity, social, cultural, and employment, and increasing domestic production are other goals of knowledge-based companies. The objective of this research is to evaluate the role of knowledge-based and employment-creating products in preventing and controlling crimes, deviations, and social unrest in Mazandaran province by looking at local and global experiences. The current research is practical in terms of objectives and it is a descriptive survey in terms of approach. The statistical population included 500 commanders and managers of the first and second levels of police command of Mazandaran, according to calculations. The sample size of the research is specified to be 217 individuals. In addition, the research collection tool was a standard questionnaire on the role of knowledge-based and job-creating products and a researcher-made questionnaire on the prevention and control of deviations, crimes, and social unrest. The face validity and reliability of the questionnaire were estimated using Cronbach alpha coefficient of 0.78 and 0.82, respectively. The correlation coefficient and, multiple regression tests have been used to analyze the findings from SPS. The obtained results indicate that knowledge-based and employment-creating products have a positive and significant effect on the prevention and control of crimes, deviations, and social unrest.
