The Role of Imam Ali's (AS) Mystical Teachings in Enhancing Emotional Intelligence and Improving Interpersonal Relationships
This article examines the role of Imam Ali's (AS) mystical teachings in enhancing emotional intelligence and improving interpersonal relationships. Initially, the concept of mysticism and Imam Ali's (AS) mystical teachings are explored, with the primary sources including the Quran, Nahj al-Balagha, and authentic hadiths being introduced. The main components of emotional intelligence, such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management, and motivation, are then detailed. The relationship between Imam Ali's (AS) mystical teachings and each of these components is analyzed, demonstrating how these teachings can strengthen emotional intelligence. Furthermore, the impact of emotional intelligence on interpersonal relationships and its importance in daily life are examined. Subsequently, the role of Imam Ali's (AS) mystical teachings in improving interpersonal relationships, with an emphasis on concepts like love, justice, and empathy, is analyzed. The findings of this study indicate that Imam Ali's (AS) mystical teachings can serve as a model for enhancing emotional intelligence and improving interpersonal relationships in contemporary society. Finally, suggestions for future research on the empirical impact of these teachings and the development of educational programs based on them are provided.
