Compilation of building information modeling competence framework in line with efficient waste management of construction projects with systematic studies and new technology

The construction industry is one of the main consumers of resources and producers of waste in the world. Construction waste has a negative impact on the environment, cost and time of projects, productivity and human performance, quality, customer satisfaction, etc. Therefore, to solve this problem, a proper understanding of the latest advances and scientific discussions in the field of construction waste management is considered essential. This research deals with the precise identification of the field of construction waste management through the systematic review and study of internationally valid scientific research articles in the period of 2010 to 2019. The goals that this article pursues are: 1- Identifying the latest research directions in the topic of construction waste management, 2- Identifying the gaps in it and 3- Providing a framework to guide future research directions.
