Identifying factors affecting the success of open strategy: a meta- synthesis approach
Open strategy is one of the emerging concepts in strategic management that has recently attracted a lot of attention. Due to environmental, technological, cultural and organizational changes, traditional strategic management approaches no longer meet the needs of organizations in the present era, therefore, the emergence of new concepts such as open strategy is a necessity. The present study has tried to investigate the factors affecting the success of open strategy in organizations using the meta-synthesis method. In this study, all research and resources related to open strategy have been studied and reviewed from the beginning to the present, and an attempt has been made to present an efficient and effective model for the success of organizations in the open strategy process. The findings of this study indicate that managers should pay attention to two basic and important categories of environmental-social factors and managerial factors in the process of formulating and implementing open strategy. Also, paying attention to cultural, behavioral, structural dimensions, transparency, participation and technological infrastructure and the elements and components related to them are very important in this regard.
