Religiosity of Lay People and its Consequences

This paper will focus on religiosity of lay people to show how much of their beliefs correspond to original teachings of religion. Therefore, we have tried to study understating of religion among followers of various religious faiths to single out destructive consequences of common understanding of religion. Therefore, we will go through original religious texts to delineate the distance of this group of believers from original principles of religion. The main point is that what we mean by religion is Islam as was revealed by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
