Abstract:
Ganjnameh-Shahrestaneh area is located in SW of Hamedan city. The main outcrop are intrusive plutonic rocks which show varieties of lithologies. The primary (magmatic) and secondary (tectonic) structures are visible in this complex. The secondary structures which are the main goal of this paper are different types (i. e. brittle- ductle, ductile and brittle). Faults were formed at different spatial scale, in the study area. Major large-scale faults have NW-SE strike; they cut Alvand intrusion and affect the rocks around the pluton. The most recent fault movements are classified into three groups of slip, Oblique slip and strike slip. Minor faults are limited to the Alvand pluton, they are very scattered and were probably formed synchronously with upwarding movement of the pluton. Recent faults with dextral revers component influence the morphology of this area.
