The role of authority in making ethical virtues

Author(s):
Abstract:
The concept of some signs of Quran, maintains that holly God does human acts and human's conduction or aberration, happens by God's will. Also God's primordial and eternal wisdom makes phenomenon happen as God's will. Some of theological sects like "Ashairah" during these signs of Quran maintain that the human has no will and authority in his or her action and therefore believe in fatalism.According to this belief when they explain ethical virtue and evil, they ignore the role of intellect and contrary to "Adliyyah" deny virtue and evil to be rational and believe that the human's intellect is not able to recognize what is good or bad. By this idea ethical discipline of Islam - which is based on authority and human's choice - could not be acceptable. In this article, we discuss about authority, fatalism and rational virtue and evil and explain the concept of some signs of Qurans, related to this subject.
