Abstract:
Considering the increasing use of information, financial and physical exchanges in supply chains, also the role of orders amplification in supply chains performance, it seems beneficial to research on the impact of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) on orders amplification. Some researches have considered the impact of information security management on organizational processes integration, business performance improvement and the increase of information exchange accuracy, but not on orders amplification. So this paper considers that how the ISMS impacts on orders amplification in the automotive supply chain. After literature review and identifying the different dimensions, by factor analyses, the important factors of these two subjects in automotive supply chain were determined. In continuance, using correlation analysis, it is showed how ISMS has impact on orders amplification in supply chains. The results of examination revealed that the various dimensions of the ISMS such as coordination of information, accuracy of information, creating the training have impact on the factors that create orders amplification such as batching orders, lead time of material and information, machine break down etc. Therefore, by information security management, the orders amplification and its effects can be decreased. So a supply chain with better performance can be expected.
