Islamic Solidarity according to the Quran

Abstract:
Islamic solidarity, referred to as 'Islamic unity', is one of the substantial tools to be used by the Muslims from the early Islam till modern time as a means against the enemies. The Muslims dignity and establishment of the right religion in the world is fulfilled through unity and solidarity of Muslims and refraining from discord and tensions. To achieve the above goals, we need to create cohesion and unity among Muslims. The right religion cannot become international until the time Muslims are not united. A necessary element of expansion of Islam is Muslim unity. The Quran, as the divine word and the reference calling for unity, introduces the elements of Islamic solidarity as virtue, believing in other's good will, enjoining others towards good deeds and forbidding them from bad deeds, understanding difference between enemy and enmity; it also count the barriers against solidarity as fanaticism and Baqy. Muslims, all believe in following the orders of the Quran, and due to such a common ground, the present paper assesses opportunities and barriers against Islamic solidarity according to the Quran and analyses the outcomes of such solidarity.
