    Several models and frameworks have been proposed by researchers for the management of research data over the past few years. These models and frameworks may help organizations and researchers evaluate various aspects of implementing research data management systems. Thus, this study aims to identify the principal dimensions and necessary practices of research data management based on a systematic review. A systematic search of PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and LISTA databases was conducted by October 2021 to identify relevant studies. Two authors screened all retrieved articles in three stages (title, abstract, and full text). Based on the refined studies, data were extracted to fulfil the objectives and answer the research questions. According to the analysis of articles, research data management can be categorized into four main dimensions: data, researchers, organizations, and technology. Data processing, data protection, data legal issues, and data sharing are the main practices of the data dimension. The researcher's dimension is educating, changing the mindset, and motivating researchers. On the organizational dimension, the essential practices supply human resources, policy-making, interaction, and support. On the technology dimension, the most significant practices include: Establishing software and hardware infrastructures. This study demonstrates that research data management is a systematic process involving various stakeholders and facilities, each cooperating and coordinating various activities. To manage research data, researchers, policymakers, research organizations, and trained staff are among the most important participants, and technical facilities are vital to its success.

    This paper portrays the topic modeling approach in identifying critical facets in new Library and Information Science (LIS) research. Using machine language, topic modeling in statistics recognizes the "topics" in a document pool. Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) is one such model for topic analysis and thus is used to classify text in the literary warrant in LIS in various locations worldwide. The study analyzed 734 articles published in 4 different LIS journals, i.e., Annals of Library and Information Studies (Indian), DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information Technology (DJLIT-Indian), College and Research Libraries (International), Liber Quarterly (International) from 2016 to 2020. LDA is used to analyze and manage the dataset. The study pivoted on the foundation of extracting 'topics' from these four journals using Mallet and Knime software to determine what research topics are essential at the national and global levels. The paper also visualizes a relationship map of distributed issues at the national and international levels to identify the sublime contexture of keyed-in tags. Furthermore, the study took a socio-cultural approach to LIS research with cross-country comparisons. The study found that the compared topics retrieved from both journals published in India and abroad where non-Indian journals varied significantly from those published in Indian journals. The study concluded that cross-cultural adoption is visible in the research activities over time. Moreover, this study identified the social parameters that describe the changes in the discipline.

    The electronic information resources provided by academic libraries in Nigeria are receiving not being optimally used, and researchers have linked this problem to factors such as the computer attitude of the users. This study examines the level of computer attitude among undergraduate students in Southwest Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive survey research method. The study population is 3,210 undergraduate students, out of which 800 students were randomly selected as the study sample. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data. The result shows a positive computer attitude among the students (Mean =2.83). However, it was found that computer attitude (β = -.033, P >.05) is not a significant predictor of electronic information resources use among undergraduates in southwest Nigeria. The study concludes that adequate training and user education programs are necessary for academic libraries to orient students about the importance of library-provided electronic information resources and equip them with the necessary skills to use them easily. The study recommends improved awareness and user education targeted at undergraduates to boost the use of electronic information resources.

    Over the years, libraries spent million to subscribe to digital library resources. However, recent studies show that the usage of digital library resources is underutilized. Subsequently, the negative feedback on digital library engagement can be associated with the issue of user deterrence from engaging themselves with the online resources provided by their local university libraries. Therefore, this study attempted to investigate digital library engagement concerning its determinants and impacts. A theoretical model consisting of 14 variables was proposed and categorized into 5-second order constructs. This study adopted a quantitative research methodology to answer the research problem. Data were collected among university students in peninsular Malaysia, specifically postgraduate students from Malaysian research-based universities. We received 492 valid responses and analyzed them based on descriptive and inferential using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The study's conclusion provides solid evidence of the interrelationship between the constructs; the determinants (technological, individual, and contextual) influenced digital library engagement positively, and subsequent digital library engagement was also found to predict perceived benefits. The study also found that contextual, individual, and technological factors are important but not good enough to increase Perceived Benefits. Thus, there is a compelling need to improve the Contextual, Individual, and Technological Factors within Malaysian research universities.

    Considering the importance of knowledge extraction as one of the stages of knowledge acquisition in the organization, this article aims to identify the effective components and dimensions of intelligent knowledge extraction and determine the importance of each one. Using the seven-step method of Wilson and Lipsey (2001), 280 research articles retrieved from databases were examined, and finally, 32 articles were evaluated. The critical Assessment Skills Program was used to score the articles. To extract codes and concepts, the articles were entered into the Atlas.ti software. Shannon's entropy was used to determine the importance of each component. In this research, 51 codes were categorized into 6 main dimensions (individual factors, education and learning, technology agents and smart technology, knowledge, dynamism and agility, and organizational factors). The results show that the component of "empowerment" has the most frequency and importance in extracting knowledge. This result shows the importance of training human resources in strengthening the organization. Also, in the spider diagram, the teaching and learning dimension has the highest weight among the identified dimensions. In this field, there is no organized study of the factors affecting intelligent knowledge extraction. Therefore, as a pioneer, this research has achieved an organized framework for extracting knowledge and determining the importance of each identified dimension by categorizing themes. With the increasing importance of knowledge management in recent years, the attention of organizations and companies' managers has been attracted to processes leading to achieving, controlling, and making available their knowledge as an organizational asset. Knowledge as an organizational asset plays an extremely vital role today. Organizations necessitate knowledge related to their business field to achieve a competitive advantage.

    Aligning knowledge and business strategies is especially important and is one of the organization's main challenges. This study aims to discover and construct a network and map knowledge and business strategy themes based on the functional domain theory in an Iranian organizational university. This study uses a directive qualitative content analysis approach to answer the research questions. Content analysis shows that four academic, physical, character and specific capabilities are needed to meet the strategic intellectual needs of the under-study university. The findings show that using the modality tools of the activity domain creates a communal meaning or shared understanding and consequently creates the possibility of operationalization. The first modality leads to a communal meaning about the structure and communication of elements. The temporalization modality establishes a shared understanding of the order and dependency between actions. The stabilization modality leads to a shared understanding of the organization's rules, standards, regulations, etc. Contextualization modality provides a communal meaning about the formation, organization, and activity domain based on the domain's motivation. The transition modality was used to provide a map and translation of the interaction and coordination, and thereby we achieved sub-categories through which coherent coordination and interaction are created. This research concluded that aligning knowledge and business strategies in organizational universities can be based on a common level and framework as the scope of operational activity. To achieve organizational goals, adopting a suitable approach for aligning resources and knowledge capabilities with the intellectual needs of the business strategy is of foremost importance. It can achieve success and sustainable competitive advantage for the organization.

    This research aims to investigate the effect of Customer Knowledge Management on the perceived quality of university library services through the mediating role of customer relationships at the University of Tabriz Central Library. This research is a correlational study that has been carried out using Structural Equation Modeling and survey method. The study population includes all 15732 students of Tabriz University in the academic year 2020-2021, of which 375 people were selected as a sample using stratified random sampling. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Data were analyzed using SEM with the partial least squares method. The results showed that Customer Knowledge Management had a positive and direct effect on the perceived quality of Central Library services of Tabriz University. Also, customer relationships had a mediating role in the relationship between customer knowledge management. They perceived the quality of Central Library services of Tabriz University. In other words, Customer Relationship strengthens the relationship between Customer Knowledge Management and the perceived quality of Central Library services of Tabriz University. The Central Library of Tabriz University can improve the perceived quality of services among users and their satisfaction with the library by improving customer knowledge management and customer relationship.

    This study aimed to evaluate the opinions of the librarians of Semnan public libraries on information consulting and examine the feasibility and requirements of setting up information consulting services (ICSs) in public libraries, which has become even more important during the coronavirus pandemic. The present study adopted a survey method using the interview technique. The research population included all librarians of Semnan public libraries. The findings showed that more than 75% of the librarians of Semnan public libraries were willing to set up the ICSs in the public library. Librarians of Semnan public libraries believed that specialized human resources hardware and software facilities and funding are required to set up the ICSs in public libraries. knowledge and skills, personality traits, and communication and public relations techniques are mentioned as the characteristics of information consultants. According to the librarians, the ICSs increase the users of libraries, improve library services, provide job satisfaction for librarians, and increase income for the library. They considered these factors as the top benefits of setting up information consulting. Given the willingness of young librarians with less experience, who are educated in Library and Information Science (LIS), to set up the ICSs in Semnan public libraries, they have the potential to provide ICSs in libraries by setting up an information consulting desk. Training of these librarians can provide the necessary basis for setting up the ICSs and information consulting clinics, promoting the position of the LIS field in the community, and leading to the employment market for graduates of LIS. This is the first study on public libraries in Iran. The importance of the subject can be a prelude to launching information consulting services in Iranian public libraries during the coronavirus.

    One group whose work involves information management is librarians. The study thus sought to understand their information management and sharing behavior during the current pandemic. An online survey was activated and shared among respondents. The questionnaires created with Google Forms were sent through the WhatsApp messaging system and email addresses of the members of the national library association (The Ghana Library Association). The questionnaire elicited information on COVID-19 information sharing and management of librarians in Ghana. Librarians in the country were asked how they receive, share and check the credibility of information regarding the pandemic. Results indicated that different people treated pandemic-related information differently. The respondents were involved in information sharing and considered information management as very important in the fight against the disease. It came out that the surest way to contain the disease would be through a well-coordinated channel such as educating the masses in information literacy and news literacy skills.

    The primary purpose of the present study is to determine the life cycle and technology prediction based on patent bibliometric data using Markov hidden model. The study population included 50,915 patent licenses in medical equipment extracted from the US Patent and Trademark Office database from 1976 to 2015. The study findings revealed technology life cycle patterns in 21 medical equipment sub-areas. The status of medical device patent license indicators at different stages of the technology life cycle, alongside the likelihood of state transfer at different stages of the medical technology life cycle, were investigated. Ultimately, the results showed that "Drug delivery equipment, Disposable medical equipment, Oximeters, and Sharps (Medical instruments)" have more suitable areas for investment and commercialization. The current research results can also provide a good insight into technologies and can be used as a guide alongside experts and other decision-making methods.

    A significant amount of scientific texts is produced in Persian and available in scientific information databases through the Web. In this paper, FarsAcademic, a test collection of Persian scientific texts has been built for implementation of information retrieval models among academic search comprising 102238 documents and 61 topics. While constructing FarsAcademic, we have tried to resolve the problems specific to information retrieval (IR) and natural language processing (NLP) in Persian scientific texts. Domain experts were employed to create queries within their research area and user relevance and topical relevance were applied to improve the precision of relevance judgment of documents. Further, to improve retrieval performance in Persian scientific texts, automated query expansion was applied using one of the relevant feedback techniques named as Local Context Analysis algorithm. The result showed that query expansion techniques outperformed other information retrieval models in the Persian scientific texts retrieval task. Eventually, FarsAcademic is the only one that has been provided free of charge for Iranian information retrieval scholars for them to implement and evaluate different information retrieval models and algorithms on Persian scientific text and academic search.

    The knowledge flow is a key success factor for organizations and institutions. Lack of proper knowledge flow in an organization and among different individuals, organizations, and businesses will cause gaps in information and information access. One such gap is the gap in the innovation system. Mediators, as one of the innovation system variables, can play a role in filling these gaps. One of the mediators is knowledge brokers. On the other hand, every business needs a specific business model for implementation depending on its nature. The present study proposed an e-commerce business model canvas for knowledge brokers to improve knowledge flow. In the present study, meta-synthesis and Delphi methods were used, respectively. The sampling methods used in the Delphi part were homogenous and snowball, based on which the experts were 10. The results showed that 7 variables (out of 48) and 22 indicators (out of 156) were removed. Finally, 134 indicators and 41 variables were classified based on Osterwalder's business model canvas variables and presented within the model.

    This study aimed to identify research on different Qur'anic ontologies by providing a clear picture of the existing reality, activities, and progress in developing Qur'anic ontologies. Therefore, the present scoping review attempts to overview the breadth and scope of the research conducted around Qur'anic ontologies during 2017-2022. The methodological framework of Arksey and O'Malley (2005), who suggested five steps for conducting domain review, was used. The search strategy was conducted in 6 databases, including Emerald, Science Direct, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, Google Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus, in April 2022. As a result, 811 studies were identified. The EndNote ver. 9 reference management tool was used to organize the studies. Three hundred and seventeen duplicate articles and 362 unrelated articles were excluded. Maximum research has considered specific Qur'anic themes in creating Qur'anic ontologies, even though some studies have tried to construct an ontology of the entire Qur'an. English and Arabic were the most common languages used in developing existing Qur'anic ontologies. In addition, most of the research constructed monolingual thematic ontology, and limited studies have applied multilingual translation of the Qur'an to their ontology. Developing tools, programming languages, and methods used in most studies are Protégé, W3C Web Ontology Language (OWL), and Resource Description Framework (RDF), and the concept classification is the up-down approach. SPARQL Protocol and RDF Query Language (SPARQL) have been the proper evaluation tools and methods used in previous research. In contrast, Description Logic (DL) queries and human experts have only been used in a few studies. This study provided a practical indication of the shortcomings, problems, and suggestions in constructing and developing existing Qur'anic ontologies leading to comprehensive Qur'an ontology to disseminating correct knowledge of the Qur'an with the help of semantic technologies. In this way, creating a comprehensive Qur'anic ontology in Persian is suggested to overcome the limitations raised in previous research.

    Knowledge management is critical for universities and research institutes to improve their operations and activities. The study aimed to investigate knowledge management components in Iran University of Medical Sciences research centers from the faculty members' perspective. The sample size for the present study was generated using a simple random approach and Cochran's formula. The sample size was 245 out of 673 associate faculty members in affiliated research centers of the Iran University of Medical Sciences. The research instrument was the Fong and Choi knowledge management standard questionnaire. Following data collection, SPSS software version 23 was used to analyze the data using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation tests. From the participant's perspective, the results indicated that the status of knowledge acquisition components was relatively good, with an average of 3.26, knowledge creation at 3.42, knowledge storage at 3.19, knowledge distribution at 3.13, knowledge application at 3.34, and knowledge retention at 3.24. According to respondents, there was an inverse statistical relationship between knowledge generation and application components and the research ranking of research centers and a direct statistical relationship between knowledge storage and retention (P-value < 0.05). There was no correlation between knowledge acquisition and distribution and the research ranking of the centers (P-value > 0.05). According to the findings, knowledge management components were applied effectively in research institutions affiliated with the Iran University of Medical Sciences. As a result, planning and strategies at research institutions and universities are required to raise this level to the desired level.

    Libraries, as organizations that typically deal with significant amounts of data, can use data mining techniques to make informed decisions based on discovered knowledge to optimize their services. Finding valuable hidden information or patterns in large amounts of data is highly important in library management and services. Academic libraries, as centers that continuously serve the scientific community, have been able to provide better services to their users by utilizing results from data-based studies for better resource and budget management or by using the information within their organizations. This study was conducted to systematically collect and analyze data mining studies in university libraries with a focus on applications, subject areas, techniques, and software used. Articles were retrieved from two major scientific databases (Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar) following PRISMA's preferred guidelines for literature review, and were screened and selected based on their relevance, techniques, software used, and subject areas.

    As the volume and diversity of COVID-19 manuscripts grow, trend topic detection has become a more crucial issue to utilize information from pandemic-specific literature. Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and bibliometric analysis are common ways of detecting trend topics. In this study, a hybrid approach is suggested by combining both techniques as a novelty perspective to attain comprehensive information. The topics studied in the COVID-19 literature were outlined with the LDA analysis, and then the COVID-19 studies were examined specifically in the field of information systems (IS) with bibliometric analysis. As an outcome of LDA analysis, it has been determined that the topics studied on COVID-19 are concentrated under the categories of clinical studies, epidemiology and transmission of COVID-19, national and global policy responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the impacts of the COVID-19. Infodemiology in social media, computer-aided detection methods for diagnosis, information systems for contact tracing and health systems, distance learning solutions, data analytics for modeling and forecasting COVID-19, epidemiology, molecular docking of COVID-19 are primary topics of IS literature in COVID-19 era. This paper assists researchers in providing a comprehensive view of the compatibility of COVID-19 literature at a macro level and in the scope of IS and also offers suggestions for future work by IS researchers.

    Academic Social Networking Sites, such as Academia.Edu, ResearchGate, and Mendeley, have revolutionized both social interaction and scholarly communication by making it easier for researchers to collaborate and share their work. As a result of these web-based resources, individuals may now create online profiles, share published articles, and interact with other subject matter experts from across the world. A variety of keywords were used by researchers to gather data from Scopus. A 14-year period from 2007 through 2020 was used to assess the research publications. More than 700 publications were retrieved from 381 journals, including 688 original research articles and 63 review papers. Except for 2008, 2016, and 2017, it was concluded that positive growth was plainly seen from 2007 to 2020. In academic communication, the United States is the most productive country in terms of productive affiliation and country on ASNSs.  In the case of institutional affiliation, Wuhan University in China is the most prolific. Using the Scopus database, this study provided a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of ASNSs in scholarly communication. In addition, it outlined the "5 Ps" for implementing ASNSs.

    Sports are highly recommended in Islam, especially archery, horse riding, and swimming. All three contain aspects of health, skill, accuracy, sportsmanship, and competition. The main objective of this study is to conduct a systematic analysis of trending research literature, especially on the topic of sports in Islam, using bibliometric analysis. This study uses a bibliometric analysis approach with the help of the VOSViewer application. The search results show 393 sports studies in Islam published from 1928-2021 using the Scopus database. Based on VOSViewer mapping, the findings reveal that: the number of publications from 1928 to 2021 fluctuated; Of the 393 documents published, the United Kingdom published the most articles (146 documents); Tansin Benn (University of Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom) were the most influential authors contributing articles (17 documents) and was the most cited author (508 citations); the sources that published the most documents were the Journal of Sports Sciences (20 documents); the most influential documents (134 citations) was entitled “Young Muslim Women and Sport: The Impact of Identity Work” written by Kristin Walseth; keywords that often appear are “Islam, sport, gender, religion, Ramadan, Muslim, football, Muslim women, physical education, fasting”. For further researchers, they can see exciting topics to be researched.

    Increasing scientific productivity in autism research requires citation evaluations that may produce multiple benefits. One of the most recent citation evaluations is the delayed recognition of scientific productions, known as "Sleeping Beauties", which in this study referred to research articles that were neglected (rarely cited) in the first ten years of publication (ten-year sleep/sleep depth) but suddenly cited in later years (at least ten years later/ten years an opportunity to wake up). Based on the standard and comprehensive selection criteria, out of a total of 8864 papers found in WoS and Medline databases between 1946 and 2000, 197 SB papers were identified. In Scopus, 8550 papers were published between 1946 and 2000, and 232 papers were identified as SB. Gillberg (1983) received the highest SB score in all citation databases, and Vilensky et al. (1981) received the highest SB score among the most cited papers. The innovative nature of the SB papers and the special attention paid to autism in recent years were discussed and concluded as possible reasons for the findings.

    This paper presents a study of 97 papers classified as review papers by Clarivate's Web of Science. The 97 peer-reviewed papers were published in three prestigious information and library science journals. According to the findings, 57 of the 97 alleged reviews are genuine. 37 research articles, brief communication, case studies, and film reviews are among the 40 papers mislabeled as reviews. The author identifies the causes of these misclassifications, discusses the implications of these misclassifications, and suggests potential solutions to avoid them.

    Publications on knowledge and information creation have grown significantly due to their importance in information and knowledge management. This study aims to discover and analyze the hidden thematic topics of information and knowledge creation publications. The research applied was performed using text mining techniques and an analytical approach. The research population comprises publications on knowledge and information creation from 1900 to 2021, retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC). The data were analyzed by Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) algorithm and Python Programming Language. Forty-eight thousand two hundred sixty-five documents were retrieved and analyzed. "Data production," "Health seeking behavior," "Human Brain and Information processing," "Decision-making models," "Knowledge production," "Information needs," and "Digital Literacy" are among the essential topics in order of publication rate. The results indicated that the spectrum of the fourteen topics covered a variety of dimensions, including "data and knowledge creation," "information processing," "information needs and behavior," "digital literacy," and "critical thinking." The study's findings have shown the conceptual relationships between textual data and the presentation of the knowledge structure of information and knowledge creation. Based on this, it can be concluded that the creation of knowledge and information includes human mental and behavioral processes concerning knowledge.

    With the spread of Web 2, social networks became more popular. Social networks are used in various fields and scientific fields due to their capabilities and facilities. This study aims to analyze published Persian research on scientific social networks systematically. The present study is applied research with a systematic review approach using the Kitchenham and Charters model, which consists of 7 steps: question design, database identification, benchmarking, search process, selection, extraction, analysis, and data quality evaluation. The statistical population comprises 83 studies indexed in Persian databases (Elmnet, Irandoc, Magiran, Noormags, SID, Civilica, ISC) published in scientific and social networks. Findings showed that the study of scientific, social networks has been started since 2012, and about 84 studies have been published in this field. Among different years, in 2018, the most works were published. About 215 authors were involved in writing these works, of which 51.6% were women and 48.4% were men, 48.8 were faculty members and 50.2 were non-faculty members. The specialty of most writers was knowledge and information science. Thematically, the study of indicators and capabilities of scientific social networks with 23 studies is in the first place, presence and use of scientific social networks with 20 titles in the second, review of various aspects of social networks with 15 titles in the third, cooperation networks with 12 titles in the fourth and general scientific social networks and construction of research profiles in them with four titles placed in the fifth rank. In conclusion, researchers try to study the activities of the universities of the Ministry of Science and the activities of medical universities. Most of the published research was in the form of articles published in scientific journals or at scientific conferences. Also, most were published in collaboration with three or four authors.
