A Study of The Organizational Culture of Women Cultural-Social Council

Abstract:
An understanding of organizational culture is one of the best instruments at the disposal of the managers to better understand the environment and conditions, problems, priorities and intellectual atmosphere of the organization and the factors that affect the performance of the staff. All these factors help them to improve the conditions and move towards desirable point. The present paper aims to study the organizational culture of the Women Cultural-Social Council in accordance with the Denison Model, which was conducted in summer 2011 through cross sectional descriptive method. The statistical population was the staff of the Council and the sample was 30 people which was equal to the statistical population. The data was collected through questionnaire, which was prepared on the basis of the Denison Standard Questionnaire with four variables: involvement, consistency, adaptability and mission. The findings of the study indicate that highest score among the four variables goes to consistency while the lowest belongs to involvement. Overall, the organizational culture in the Council is average.
