The Fundamentals of Epistemology in Sanayi's View

The course of history and historical events change and develop on the basis of man’s thoughts and ideas. A man’s art is revealed in his ideas. The Koran has frequently emphasized the attainment of knowledge. The word science and its derivatives have 750 occurrences in the Koran. God has referred to the elevated status of scientists. Sanayi, a scientist of his time, has frequently referred to the value and importance of knowledge and science. In his view, attainment of knowledge is what distinguishes man from animals. The epistemological fundamentals of Hadiqeh are the four issues of God, man, the universe, and the afterlife. In Sanayi’s opinion, knowing man is an introduction to knowing God, and knowing the world is the way to know the afterlife. This article studies the epistemological fundamentals of Hadiqeh, based on Ghazali’s classification.
