Abstract:
Anvari and Khaqani are two great Iranian poets who have greatly and fundamentally influenced Persian odes (ghazals). The present article has a look at the most important musical manifestations of these two great poets’ odes. After an introduction about the importance of these two poets in developing and elevating odes, the article studies the external music (prosody) and lateral music (rhyme) in their odes, providing tables and figures to show the results of the research.
