Perspective and mission of Non-Public (nonprofit) Higher Education Institutes

This study aims to analyze and investigate the perspective, mission and factors influencing executive success of approaching plan of non-public (nonprofit) higher education institutes in Iran. The population of this study includes professors and managers of 58 institutes and non-public (nonprofit) universities having activity in the country. The samples of this study based on Morgan’s table include 108 professors and managers. The test tools include 2 questionnaires made by author, one is open response and another one is close response. The internal validity has been verified based on the view of related authorities and its reliability was confirmed by cronbakh Alpha test, 0.86. Samples were selected quota randomly for open response and randomly for close response questionnaires. For analyzing the data, we employed descriptive statistics features such as abundance, percentage, graph and table. Results deals with showing that managers and faculty members of universities and educational institutions concede on profit universities are successful in terms of perspective (mean: 3.56) and fulfilling missions (mean: 4.67). These institutions have performed above average as far as achieving plans are concerned. Based upon this, codification, performance and supervision of achieving plans in universities and educational institutions lay a ground for promoting their performance quality.
