Studying the effect of Career counseling by the method of Dewis Career adjustment on the fall of personal accomplishment in married employees of Behbahan IAU

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of Career counseling by the method of Dewis Career adjustment on the fall of personal accomplishment in married employees of Behbahan IAU.The research was experimental and the participants were the married male employees of the university in 1387. To do so, 40 married male employees who got over 50% points of the questionnaire`s value in the personal non-accomplishment feelings were randomly selected and divided into two groups of experimental (including 20 participants) and control (including 20 participants) ones. The experimental group participated in 8 group-counseling-sessions of 90 minutes based on Dawis work adjustment theory. The follow-up session was held one month later after the end of the previous sessions. To analyze the data, the t-test of independent groups,as well as covariance analysis were utilized. At p<0.05 level the findings show that career counseling by the method of Dawis Career adjustment has an effect in the fall of personal accomplishment in married male employees at two stages of post-test and follow-up.
