The Impact of Geopolitics on Political Model Supported by Shiites in Different Countries

Shiites of the Islamic world theoretically enjoy a specific political viewpoint, however practically they support different governments in current conditions of the Islamic world. Although different factors may be at play, but the hypothesis of this article is that Shiite's geographical and geopolitical status play an important role in their practical support of these different models. Therefore the main question of this article is which geopolitical factors have exerted influence on the political model supported by Shiites in different countries. To investigate this issue along with a theoretic discussion on how geopolitics influences the political thought, it has been tried to explain important factors influencing Shiite's political thought leading to their support of different political models.
