Study of the Effect of Praying on the Youth Personality(A Case Study in Islamic Azad University of Mashhad)

This study is a stratified random sampling survey among 410 students of Islamic Azad University of Mashhad Branch. And a self-administered questionnaire was also conducted. The face validity and reliability of Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used here. Cronbach's alpha coefficient is 0/811. Extroversion, self-esteem, social relationship, behavior kindly, stable behavior, insight, normal personality, duty, perseverance and seriousness and decision making" has been measured with a questionnaire designed by the researchers. Data analysis Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression were used here. The results show that prayer has positive effect on the character and role of youth. Also on some components of personality such as" social relations, kindly behavior, insight, normal personality, duty, perseverance and seriousness of the decision" has a positive effect as well. Multivariate regression analysis shows that the explanatory power of regression is 0.221. This means that 22 percent of the remaining variation is based on the model variables with other variables of model. Changing in normal behavior had the greatest effect on the prayer.
