Evaluation of Fabric Mechanical Properties on Worsted Fabric Moulding

Molding is one of the most important properties of textile fabrics. The ability of a fabric to be molded into 3D shapes is actually an important technical application in this study، worsted fabric with different structural parameters are provided and their moldability are assessed with a shear modulus، bending modulus and stretch modulus، and the results of shearing are obtained with analysis of image processing. a moldability tester is also developed in this research with the ability to measure the fabric moldability.
