Evaluate comparison cooling device of two methods on the perineal pain level result of episiotomy

cold therapy is the simplest and oldest therapeutic modality in the treatment of acute soft tissue injuries So this research was done to evaluate the Features of two cooling devices (gel pad with ice pack) on perineal pain level in who gave birth. In this randomized controlled trial، 81 healthy primiparous women were chosen in the two groups cold therapy (ice pack، cooling gel pad) and control group. Evaluate Features of two cooling devices with 3questions and Rating scale in days 1، 2، 5، 10. A statistically significant difference in the pain level was seen in 2 groups at days 2، 5، 10th،، which was in favour of the maternity gel pad. cooling in 2 group during 10 minute and prolonge effect analgesia device not significant at days 1، 2، 5، 10th Cooling gel pad is better than ice pack on reduced episiotomy pain.
