Assessment of air evacuation and transport training effect by e-learning method on nurse's learning levels

Introduction and existence of positive and several characteristics in e-learning education such in learning-education situations has been caused spread rapidly in various fields. In nurses groups because of compress time e-learning are the best options. With this purpose air evacuation and translate victims training assessed with e- learning method and nurse’s knowledge، attitude and practice were reviewed. Methods and Matherials: In this interventional study done by 30 nurses of one of selected hospitals in the Tehran by Simple sampling in 2010-11. Training in this research done by e-learning. A Multiple choice researcher-designed questionnaire with 30 questions about three levels of cognitive learning including knowledge، comprehension and application was prepared and the test was done in before، immediately after training and 2 weeks later. Questionnaire validity with expert personal reliability gained with Code Richardson 21 test (0. 72). Data was analyzed with SPSS17 software and Repeated Measures ANOVA test. Knowledge scores’ mean in three stages، before، immediately after and 2 weeks after training were 5. 3، 7. 5، 7. 7 comprehensive scores’ mean were 4. 76، 6. 06، 6. 33 and application scores’ mean were 4. 5، 7. 56، 7. 3. The average total scores were 14. 3، 21. 13، 21. 33. t-test showed a significant difference for all stages and at all levels of learning (p<0. 001). Results prove that e-learning is effective in learning levels; therefore، air evacuation and transport training by e-learning despite being expensive can be an effective way as saving and creating sustainably learning is useful.
