Iranophobia in the US: An Orientalistic Representation of Iran's Nuclear Program in Iranium Documentary

Following the victory of Islamic revolution of Iran and with the help of different media, Psychological warfare waged by western countries against Iran has occurred in the framework of representing different issues in the form of an orientalistic discourse and the concept of duality of Islam and west. One of these issues is Iran's nuclear program which has been on the spotlight of media in their psychological war against Iran and to inculcate Iranophobia. Iranium in this regard takes up a specific orientalistic approach with a specific representation of Islamic republic of Iran's nuclear program to inculcate Iranophobia and to introduce this program as a threat to international peace and security. Having applied theoretical framework of representation and utilizing discourse analysis, this article tries to study discourse approaches in this documentary.
