Abstract:
Purpose
Analysis of catalogs of documents of the Safavid and Qajarid eras and exploring their descriptive elements.
Method
Library and archival records as well as manuscripts were consulted for classification.
Findings
Factors attended in catalogs of documents of the Safavid and Ghajarid eras included date of document, type of document, content, place,, sejelaat, seals, and margins. Also, records in these catalogs are described according to date or place and age.
