Investigation on Possibility Small Industry (Conversional Agricultural) with Using of SWOT Descriptive Model (Case Study of Villages of central Part of Rasht City)

Industrialize of villages with regard to goals and aims that will be followed, is a basic step to achieve rural sustainable development.Present article has analyzed the possibility of establishment of small sources (conversional agricultural) in villages of central part of Rasht city; with attention to existing capabilities and restrictions and also, identify and provision of suitable strategies and approaches about desired aims. According to this, key question of research is the following that is it possible to create conversional agricultural industries in villages of central part of Rasht city, or not? For this purpose, this study from aspect of applied aim and basis of method is descriptive – analytic. For presentation of desired strategies and approaches from way of determination of weaknesses and strengths, opportunities and threats has been used from SWOT analytic model. The results indicate that in this area, there are more strengths and opportunities rather than existed weaknesses and threats for establishment of industries. Therefore, in addition to its current function, we can consider industrial function is a basic step to achieve rural sustainable development for it.
