The Evaluating of Azarshahr Geo-tourism Capabilities by using of Pralong Method

In 83 percent of world countries، white industry (tourism)، is of first five profit making sources. Although tourism share of GDP in Iran is only 0/1 percent، it is، however on the world first ten countries، from tourism potentiality perspective. So، necessity of working on this problem is clear، and identification، introduction of areas and research in this field، could be of this project first priorities. So in this research we will study and evaluate Azarshahr geo-tourism capabilities separately on each phenomenon. The methodology of this research is descriptive-analytical. Data surveyed in this research are gathered from field studies and documents، and then are analyzed by using of pralong method. The pralong method based on four criteria (socio - economic، cultural - historical، scientific and aesthetics) is calculated by the following equation: Tourism criteria ═ (Social criteria - economic، cultural criteria - historical، scientific criteria، aesthetics criteria) / 4. This formula measures weight in any aspect of tourism is more or less than another. In this article to estimate the geo-tourism value of percent phenomenon in the scope of our study، aesthetic، scientific، cultural-historical and social-economical parameters related to geomorphologic and functional aspects of each phenomenon are studied separately. Results of this reveal geo-tourism capabilities of target range، despite all barriers (lack of proper communicational network، lack of specialist man power in tourist guiding، improper welfare and residential equipment، insufficiency hygienic equipment and facilities). The important achievement of this paper is development of public attitude scientific tourism in geological museums in a scientific method. So we could have a step forward in sustainable development of the area parallel with developing interest in geo-tourism areas among public and attracting tourist to them.
