The pattern of quality assurance of physical science in distance learning system

Abstract:
Payam Noor University as one of the subsets of higher education system and the largest distance learning center in Iran in which more than a million students study, seeking for beneficiarie's satisfaction and achieving the highest degree of quality in presenting expert and educational services. This article studies the function and identification of features effective on quality improvement and guarantee of physical science field in Payam Noor University in order to present guarantee pattern of physical science teaching quality. In addition to studying the selected statistical sample viewpoint by Kerjsey and Morgan methods (500 students, 150 trainees and 66 members of the board), the researcher looking for identifying weak points and things need correction and improvement through in filed method after studying the situation of 8 factors effective on quality by 32 criteria and 181 markers and extracting relatively desirable result in order to decrease the distance between current qualitative conditions and desirable conditions assumed by the group. In the second phase, through Delphi method and expert's viewpoints of the field, the 8 factors effective on guarantee of distance learning quality identified from global studies and experiences, and quality guarantee systems, and designing applied-conceptual pattern of guaranteeing quality of physical science teaching compatible with distance learning system of Payam Noor University all through summing up the results from these two polling.
