Assessing the Efficiency of Shahrbaabak's Guidance Schools

Abstract:
To assess the efficiency of Guidance schools of Shahrbaabak during the 2007-2008 academic year, the data on five factors, as input, and two factors as output were collected from the City's Bureau of Education, and analyzed. Results show that the efficiency is only close to 81%, meaning that resources were not used optimally. In identifying the inefficient units, it was discovered that they were sensitive to the used model and factors. When the model was changed to that of BCC, and the number of factors involved reduced, the number of inefficient units decreased.
