Message:
Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to examine the process model of “Hypocritical behaviors in interpersonal communication at workplace” and relations among its components in the frame of exploratory mixed methods. In this regard we selected a 187 employees sample from a public organization using probability sampling and distributed the 101 items researcher- made questionnaire, which was developed through first (qualitative) phase of research. As a result of acceptable fit to the data to structural equation models and significance of regression coefficients, hypotheses were confirmed at the 0.99 level. The results indicate that causal conditions effects positively on multi-dimension acquisitive impression management, which in turn and accompanied by context and managerial and organizational intervening conditions effect positively on hypocritical behaviors in interpersonal communication at workplace. These kind of behaviors and intervening conditions cause individual consequences (special for primary and secondary actors, and upright spectators; common between secondary actors and impotent spectators) and organizational consequences include of interpersonal trust deduction, organizational silence, and reproduction of hypocritical behaviors in interpersonal communication at workplace.
