Requirements of Ministry of Sciences, Research and Technology and other Research Centers to Biosafety Executive Byelaw at Laboratories with Emphasis on Biosafety Level 3

Biosafety program at laboratory scale is a series of protective methods and provisions to reduce the risks encounter by the biological hazards same as laboratory adventitious infections. At the Provisions codify laboratories disport to common biosafety level1، common biosafety level2، and contaminant level 3 and highly contaminant level4، afterward the risk groups’ definition. In this study necessity of laboratory biosafety program at the topics same as training، transition، biosecurity program، protective conditions of different biosafety level laboratories and the needs of biosafety level 3 laboratories has been discussed and finally impediments for establishment the biosafety program at biosciences laboratories at Iranian universities، such as codification the law، training and sanction has been reviewed.
