Reviewing Satisfaction Levels of Apartments from their Inhabitants: Case Study: Brigand City - Region 2

Abstract:
Regardless of all its advantages and disadvantages, apartment living has been prevalent in the recent three decades. Population growth, lack of land to make houses, higher security of complexes, citizens’ financial power and lots of other results affect apartment living development directly. The present study has been conducted to verify the satisfaction level of apartment living from their inhabitants point of view in Brigand. To do so, first, the other studies with the same aim conducted before have been probed. As apartment living is one of the patterns of urban living, civil sociologists’ point of view have been regarded to develop the theoretical framework. Questionnaires were distributed in Brigand region 2 which owns more apartments. Independent variables are: neighbors’ relationship, physical elements, complex facilities, view, security and hygiene. Dependent variable is Satisfaction level. Results show that satisfaction criteria play effective role in satisfaction level of apartment dwellers in region 2 of Brigand.
