Author(s):
Abstract:
This research studies the origins of identity among the female students in Khalkhal high-schools in 2012-2013. Data was gathered through the survey method (questionnaires) and the library method. The dependent variable was the study of identity seeking, but the independent variable includes the degree of religious orientation, social status of the family, the access to foreign networks, the solidarity within friends groups, and the students self –confidence. In order to determine their relationships, theories from Parsons functionalism, Herbert Bliummers imitation, exchange theory of Mead, Karl Marx and Webers conflict theory, symbolic interactionism, Durkheims ideas about religion and also psychological theories were in the study. The data was analyzed in the study. The data was analyzed by SPPS software and appropriate statistical tests such as Pearsons correlation coefficient, T-TEST and multiple regression analysis. The research also shows that there is a significant relationship between dependent and independent variables.
