Abstract:
Political Islam is a neology that has been coined against traditional Islam. This word describes the currents that intend to establish an Islamic government. After Islamic revolution of Iran, three discourses of political Islam, liberal, left and jurisprudential, confronted each other. The main question in this article is that how was the political Islam in Islamic revolution of Iran. The proposition is that the jurisprudential political Islamhas been the sole discourse to be introduced in Islamic revolution of Iran. This discourse has been based on the thoughts of Imam Khomeini and Velayat- Faghih. This discourse has been divided after a while into two subdiscourses: left and right.
