Cloud Archiving: A Novel Solution to Managing Digitalized Documents

Current solutions for dealing with the user's needs and continuous technological changes have pushed archives to big challenges, including the high costs of hardware and software development, maintenance, management, preservation, and ensuring access to digitalized documents. Research Method/Approach: Review of the literature. Findings and Cloud archiving can be of great assistance to organizations in dealing with the problems of digital archival services, such as storage and management of the growing mass of digital documents. It provides a wide range of options regarding how and where documents can be stored and accessed by the users. However, to benefit most from cloud archiving, a number considerations should be attended to. Such considerations are discussed in the closing paragraphs of this paper.
