A Study of the Underlying Factors Affecting Political Socialization and its Impact on Velayatpaziri

In this qualitative research, conducted through interviews, the impact of socialization on velayatpaziri(accepting the authority of the qualified Islamic jurisprudent)has been examined. The statistical population includes the students of Isfahan University and the typical case sampling method has been used to select the sample. Using this sampling method, 15 religious individuals who were also somehow involved in political activities were selected for the interview. Family, education, mass media and peers are among the most important socialization tools. If political socialization is aided by these factors, avelayatpazir community can be imagined, but if they are inconsistent with each other and even function in contradiction with the very political system, the society will deviate from velayatpaziri.
