Modeling The Relationship of Knowledge Management and The Performance Indicators of National Innovation System (NIS)
Author(s):
Abstract:
As knowledge management and intellectual capital have become important issues in recent years, a great deal of research have tried to make a bridge between knowledge management and intellectual capital on the one hand with innovation, on the other hand. Researchers point to the role and impact of knowledge management on innovation expansion and believe that knowledge management either has to be fundamentally focused on innovation and creativity or the utmost innovation efficiency would solely be obtained when knowledge management process backs innovation. These assumptions lead us to concentrate on the analysis of knowledge management role in the national innovation system. The methods used in the research are test analysis and meta-analysis.Modeling the relationship of knowledge management and the performance indicators of national innovation system show that knowledge creation and capacity of NIS, knowledge gathering in NIS, knowledge sharing and dynamism of NIS, knowledge use and efficiency of NIS, knowledge evaluation and optimization of NIS, have meaningful correlations.
