The Relationship between Architecture and Ethics in Iranian and Western Civilizations.

Abstract:
Considering the relationship and link between ethical issues and artistic elements and architectural aspects with regard to the influence of this branch of art on the structures of the society through the formation of an appropriate human habitat is of great significance.Presenting the definitions offered by Iranian and western philosophers about the concepts like art, beauty and ethics, the present study concerns the relationship between morality and art and aesthetic in Iranian and western civilizations and the proportion of the moral issues to artistic affairs like architecture.Among the findings of this study are: the necessity of considering the presence of ethical principles in artistic creations and architecture by civil engineers, researchers and all who have interest in this field and proving the existence of a productive and direct relationship between ethical concepts and architecture with regard to the rapid improvements and changes occurring in science and technology as well as the artistic and human sciences fields.
