Nanosilver: Properties, applications and biosafety

With the particle size reaching the nano levels¡ new physical and chemical characteristic appear in substances and this is the main cause of the attraction to nano-materials in various fields. Nowadays silver nano-particles are considered as one of the most attractive topics in modern engineering in such a way those scientific articles about this subject and its application in industries¡ medical science and agriculture and in other fields of study are increasing rapidly every day. Despite the various applications of nano-materials¡ few studies have been conducted on their effects on environment¡ humans and animals. Therefore¡ study in its safety and the awareness on its toxicity for environmental protection and community health seems essential. Through¡ these studies one com set some binding rules for producers¡ distributers and consumers and by considering its environmental aspects and its standard applications in each field¡ it would be possible to eliminate the destructive effects of nano-silver.
